Rowing Camp

NOVICE LEARN TO ROW CAMPS 2011
 
All of our camps run out of the Sandy Run Park boathouse.  The Occoquan Juniors Novice Learn to Row Programs is a 2 week, multi school program, designed to teach and improve upon the basic fundamental elements of the rowing sequence. This program is ideal for middle school and high school aged children, in grades 7th-12th, with less than one year of competitive rowing experience.  Visit our website for more details at www.occoquanjuniors.com
 
PROGRAM FEE:
2 Week Camps - $175
 
Dates:
Camp # 1: July 11th- July 21st
Camp # 2: July 25th- August 4th
Camp # 3: August 8th- August 18th
Camp # 4: August 22nd - September 1st
 
Practice Times: Monday-Thursday
6:00-8:00 pm at Sandy Run Park
** Each Camp is limited to 20 participants**


EXPERIENCED SUMMER ROWING CAMPS 2011
 
All of our camps run out of the Sandy Run Park boathouse.  The Occoquan Juniors Experienced Sweep Program is a four-week, multi-school program, designed to focus on rowing skill development and improving the overall physical fitness of the camp participants. No erging is involved in this camp. We will maximize our rowing time on the water and take advantage of the beautiful water conditions on the Occoquan during the summer months. This program is ideal for experienced rowers and coxswains who are trying to make higher end, varsity boats in the subsequent year. Some sculling may be incorporated throughout the camp but the primary focus will be sweep rowing.  For more details, visit our website at www.occoquanjuniors.com

The cost of each camp.......... $320
 
Experienced coxswains........ $100 per camp session.
