NOTICE:
Fairfax H.S. Crew is seeking a Head Coach with previous coaching experience at the college, high school, or club level. The Head Coach is responsible for helping to advance the team as a whole by effectively teaching and training novice and varsity rowers in proper technique, racing strategy, sportsmanship, and discipline. Additionally, the Head Coach is responsible coordinating responsibilities and leading one or two assistant coaches. We are seeking a Head Coach who is assertive yet creative in bringing athletes of zero experience to a competitive level and those at a competitive level to champions. FHS Crew is entering its 14th season, averages 30-45 rowers per season, maintains a strong and young fleet of rowing shells, and is preparing for another highly successful, championship season.
